Aquaforest Macro 250ml - Macroelements

This is a precisely selected and balanced composition containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Macroelements are the basic building blocks. They participate in the formation of many cellular structures, proteins, and enzymes. Additionally, they serve as carriers and accumulators of energy and are components of nucleic acids. Symptoms of deficiency or excess of a specific component depend on the specific functions it performs in the plant. Usually, a deficiency of a macroelement manifests as stunted growth, the emergence of weakened shoots, and discoloration of parts of the plant. An excess, on the other hand, causes excessive growth, dark green leaves (in the case of too much nitrogen), while the entire plant is weak and susceptible to various injuries. AF Macro is the essential fertilizer necessary for the proper development of aquarium plants.

Dosing: 5 ml of AF Macro per 100 liters of water twice a week. It is recommended to use it in parallel with AF Micro. Do not conduct parallel supplementation with other products containing macroelements due to the risk of over-fertilizing the plants and algae blooms. Absorbents such as zeolite and/or carbon may reduce the effectiveness of the product. In case of a higher demand for any of the macroelements, additional supplementation with AF N Boost, AF PO4, and AF K Boost products can be done.
