Aquaforest N Boost 2000ml - nitrogen in liquid form

The presence of nitrogen determines the growth of the plant, its bushiness, and the green coloration of the leaves. Proper nitrogen supplementation is very important, as both deficiency and excess can be harmful to plants. A nitrogen deficiency leads to stunted growth, chlorosis, and yellowing of the leaves, and in later stages, browning. An excess manifests as lush growth, dark green leaves, while the plant becomes very delicate and less resistant to mechanical injuries. The appropriate level of nitrates in a planted aquarium should be 10-20 mg/l. Nitrogen is primarily absorbed by plants in the form of nitrate and ammonium. AF N Boost contains mineral forms of nitrogen that are well assimilated by aquarium plants. Proper fertilization ensures healthy growth and appearance of aquarium plants.

Dosing: 10 ml of AF N Boost dissolved in 100 l of water raises the nitrate level by 9.5 mg/l. It is recommended to use it in parallel with AF Micro, AF PO4 Boost, and AF K Boost. It should not be used with other preparations containing nitrogen due to the risk of over-fertilizing plants and algal blooms.
