Safety valve 3/4" 6bar 42234 The AF-4 and AF-8 valves are designed exclusively for electric hot water heaters with a maximum water temperature of 90°C and a rated pressure of 6 bar as a protective element. The valve consists of:- Safety valve - opening outflow of water when pressure in the heater rises over 6.7 ±0.3 bar.- Return valve - preventing the flow of water from the heater to the water supply system of the heater, in the event of a loss of pressure in the supply network. This valve opens when the pressure of water in the power supply is at least 0.2 bar higher than the pressure in the heater.- Drain valve - opening water flow from the heater to the water supply system of the heater when the pressure in the heater exceeds 0.9 ±0.4 bar supply pressure. This reduces the pressure of rising water in the heater in the absence of water intake. The valve is not designed to discharge water from the heater, as the resulting pollutants can cause damage to the valve, which may result in an environmental and user hazard.
