RØDE NTG-2 RØDE NGG-2 is a lightweight, capacitive shotgun directional microphone powered by battery or standard Phantom power supply. It was designed to work on film, video applications, television and production industry. The microphone is equipped with a low-impedance symmetrical output and can be powered either with an internal AA 1.5 V battery or standard Phantom 48 V power supply [P48]. With a wide range of transfer, controlled directional characteristics, and low noise electronics, NBG-2 will be a great choice for video production and narrative. The advantage of the microphone is also its small weight, thanks to which it can be mounted directly on video cameras and microphone arms. Together with the microphone, the user receives a handle and an anti-air cover that effectively suppresses noise caused by air movements accompanying field work.
